Career Advice

You want to review your current position, prepare to make an important career move, or review new opportunities, but have no idea how and where to begin your search. You can benefit from our services and benefit from our experience – we can advise and assist you make the most promising decisions of your life. Depending on your needs, you can choose for either of the below-mentioned programs:

Career Coaching

With our career counselling program, you can be assured you are moving in the right direction in your market. After a thorough analysis of your strengths and your professional development potential, you will be provided with an assessment. Then, you choose skills you would like to pursue and develop, while I assist you in each and every step. Also included in this program are personal life coaching and an analysis of the current job market.

Depending on the needs and knowledge of the client, your consultancy service may include:

Career and life planning;
Current challenges and difficult situations in professional context;
Alternative career path e.g. the path to independence;
A plan for your career outlook if you are simply dissatisfied with your present situation.

Business-Coaching

Business Coaching, if done right can deliver obvious benefits in different professional scenarios. Our business coaching technique focuses not on emotions or mindsets, but on implementing proven best-practice systems, strategies and actions that actually help you grow business. We can assess your business potential, give feedback or constructively resolve conflicts. One of our key strength areas are Future Leadership Development and Change Management.

Career Coaching International

If you live abroad but are really keen on working in Germany and are looking for a career coach or an advisor, then this program is for you. We start our initial discussions when you are contemplating a move --- we share advice on your career and suggest some job search activities you can begin before your arrival.
We will begin the process with a free 20-minute pre-coaching via phone or video chat (Skype, Facetime). After that, we will suggest the program that fits your needs. You then decide how and when you would like to start the coaching. As soon as you are in Germany, we can meet in person and continue the program, which includes career guidance, career evaluation, job search skills, targeting the job market, interview preparation, developing networks and salary negotiations.
If needed, we can also help you through the process of acquiring a work or residence permit, and connect you with the best Immigration lawyers.

Outplacement

Restructuring, merger or closure of the business, reasons for outplacement could be varied but it poses some serious challenges for both, the company as well as its employees. In this event, we can assist both parties. Beginning with the first discussions to the re-hiring phase, we advise you on each and every step.

Outplacement services are either delivered through individual one-on-one sessions or in a group format. The individual outplacement is individually tailored to the candidate. As a first step, we develop a situational analysis upon which we will outline a realistic, shared plan of the possibilities for change. Then as an advisor, we will help you address the required activities and put you in contact with the right companies and recruiters.

I am Birgit Caspar de Suárez, a Career Coach, Business Consultant and Founder of CAsalon. I specialize in German employment and labour market. I have over 25 years of experience with strong intercultural skills and fluency in 4 languages: English, German, Spanish and Danish.
